Est. 2011 — Pacocha Bridge, Wales

Every great project has a story.
Here is ours — and how it becomes yours.

Steward Video Solutions has spent over a decade turning raw ideas into polished visual narratives. Scroll through our timeline to see how we grew, what we learnt, and why our process delivers results that matter.

"They didn't just film our event — they understood our brand voice and translated it into something we use every single quarter."
— D. Hargreaves, Marketing Lead, Bridgend Manufacturing Co.
"We came with a rough brief. They came back with a concept that tripled our engagement. Genuine creative partners."
— R. Llewellyn, Founder, Cymru Digital Learning

A Decade in Motion

Key chapters in our journey — each one shaping how we work today.

First Camera, First Client

Founded in a spare room in Pacocha Bridge with a single DSLR and a conviction that small businesses in Wales deserved cinematic-quality video without London pricing. Our first project: a 90-second brand film for a local bakery that still runs on their homepage.

The Corporate Leap

Secured our first retainer contract with a regional logistics firm. This year taught us the discipline of scheduled content calendars, brand guideline compliance, and producing under tight turnarounds. We invested in proper lighting rigs and our first dedicated editing suite.

Aerial & Motion Graphics

Added drone cinematography and in-house motion graphics to our toolkit. This opened doors to tourism boards, property developers, and event organisers who needed sweeping visuals and animated data storytelling.

Full Production Studio

Moved into a purpose-built studio space on Emard Lea. Two editing bays, a green-screen stage, and a dedicated sound booth. We started handling end-to-end production for training programmes, product launches, and documentary shorts.

Remote & Hybrid Production

The pandemic forced us to rethink delivery. We built a remote directing workflow, shipped kit to clients, and guided shoots via live feed. What started as a workaround became a permanent offering — reducing costs for clients outside Wales by up to 40%.

Where We Stand Now

A six-person core team supported by a trusted network of freelance specialists. Over 300 completed projects. Clients across education, manufacturing, hospitality, tech, and the public sector. Still based in Wales. Still obsessed with getting the cut right.

What We Bring to the Table

We are not a one-trick production house. Our strength is range — from intimate interview setups to multi-camera live events, from quick social cuts to long-form documentary work.

Every project gets a dedicated producer, a clear shot list, and a post-production timeline you can hold us to. No mystery. No scope creep surprises.

Bridgend Manufacturing

Quarterly brand content retainer running since 2019. We produce safety inductions, recruitment films, and LinkedIn content. Their recruitment cost-per-hire dropped noticeably after the first video series.

Pembrokeshire Tourism Board

Aerial and ground-level destination films used in a national campaign. Featured across social media and regional broadcast. Over 1.2 million organic views in the first month.

Greenfield Estates

Property showcase films for three residential developments. Drone flyovers combined with interior walkthroughs. Two of three developments sold out before construction completed.

Valleys Heritage Trust

A 22-minute documentary short capturing oral histories from former mining communities. Selected for screening at the Cardiff International Film Festival 2023.

How a Project Unfolds

Three phases. Clear handoffs. No black boxes.

Phase 1 — Shape

We listen before we pitch. A discovery call maps your goals, audience, and constraints. You receive a written brief, a budget estimate, and a proposed timeline within five working days. No commitment until you approve.

Phase 2 — Shoot

Pre-production locks in scripts, shot lists, and logistics. On shoot day, our team arrives early, sets up quietly, and runs the session with minimal disruption. You get daily progress updates if the shoot spans multiple days.

Phase 3 — Ship

Rough cut delivered for review within the agreed window. Two rounds of revisions included as standard. Final deliverables exported in every format you need — web, broadcast, social, internal. Master files archived for 24 months.

Built Around People, Not Gear

We own good equipment, but we don't lead with it. The difference between a forgettable video and one that actually moves people is always human: the director who knows when to push for another take, the editor who finds the emotional beat in the B-roll, the producer who keeps the whole thing on rails.

Our core team has worked together for years. That continuity means less onboarding friction for you and a smoother shoot day every time.

"Other production companies showed us showreels. Steward showed us a plan. That's why we chose them — and why we keep coming back."
— T. Bowen, Operations Director, Greenfield Estates

Common Questions

How far in advance should we book?

For standard projects, two to three weeks of lead time is comfortable. For large-scale event coverage or multi-day documentary shoots, we recommend six weeks minimum. Rush jobs are possible — talk to us and we'll be honest about what's feasible.

Do you travel outside Wales?

Regularly. We've shot across England, Scotland, and Ireland. For international work, we can either travel with our core team or coordinate with vetted local crews under our remote directing model. Travel costs are always quoted upfront.

What if we need changes after the final delivery?

We archive your master project files for 24 months. Re-edits beyond the included revision rounds are billed at a transparent day rate. Minor tweaks — swapping a title card, adjusting a lower third — are usually handled at no extra charge.

Can you work with existing brand guidelines?

Absolutely. We regularly work within strict brand frameworks — colour palettes, font systems, tone-of-voice documents. Send us what you have and we'll build the visual treatment around it.
